Walls of Jerusalem

The Walls of Jerusalem has to be one of my favourite spots for a hike! Just this weekend I went up with friends. The first day we left about lunchtime and walked past Trappers Hut to the comfortable tent platforms at Wild Dog Creek, just below King David's Peak. On the second day we took daypacks and hiked to Dixons Kingdom hut and some of us went up Mount Jerusalem and the others went up Solomon's Throne on the way back to the tents. The third morning we hiked back to the cars. Always great! The tent platforms have a watertank and toilet too.

Walter is in his mid forties and has Cystic Fibrosis. This requires him to stay fit, and what better way than to show people around his favourite NorthWest of Tasmania. He lives in Devonport, close to many natural treasures.

In return for some petrol money and entry fees (where applicable), a donation to CF Tasmania and registering as an organ donor you and a friend or two can join him!

Ideal for photography, wildlife, nature, art and cuisine lovers! Pick-up and drop-off. Best for small groups of 1-3. Leisurely 1-6 hour walks and no early starts! All care taken but no responsibility accepted, travel insurance recommended.
