Dove lake has vegetation that dates back 100 milion years when Tasmania was part of the supercontinent of Gondwana... It is World Heritage! Posted by Picasa

Nothofagus Turning


The main reason we came here this trip was to see Austrlia's rare autumn colours. The only native Deciduous tree is our Fagus (Nothofagus gunnii) and it 'turns' in April.
