Mount Wellington conquered

Faith made it to the top of Mount Wellington!

At 1270m it is well above the clouds today.... See Hobart in the distance!

And the white tower is the Wrest Point Casino where we stayed. I even managed to win $100 playing BlackJack with Robert. He was a good coach obviously, as I am a novice!

The braves of the lot cliombed the shot tower at Taroona! 319 steps!

And a visit to The Moorilla Estate in Hobart to tryout Princess Mary's favourite food and wine!

Hitch heading for Hobart

Last glance at the nice coast line...

And off to Port Arthur where Robert showed us what it feels like to be married...

This is where people got flooged by the Cat of Nine Tails...

Port Arthur scenery...

Did I mention food?

Freycinet vs Hitch

Blowing away on the East Coast...

Morning Beach walks outside the Freycinet Resort...

Resting in Caves....

Taking photos of Wineglass Bay... did I mention walking up?

Grass Trees....

More animals

A tame wombat was brought to us for petting...

Robert taking the obligatory roo-shot...

Tassie Devil feeding...

And an owl was hungry too...

Another day gone...

Hitch going bush

Robert investigating Weindorfers Forest at Cradle Mountain...

Cradle Mountain. Robert doing as Mike told him; taking pictures!

A young echindna along the road...

The vehicle in which we spotted possums, wombats and wallabies...

Jonah can fly

After a huge feed of Pancakes on Elephant Pass (which I rode up when I was 16) Jonah felt like flying. So that is what he did...

Martin showed up!

Mate Martin from Holland arrived while I was travelling with Frank and family. He joined in on the fun on the east Coast of Tasmania. Martin, Brent and I travelled the Trans Siberian Railway in 1985 during Gorbachov's regime! Great to be able to spend some time with him again!

Here he is feeding an emu in a zoo.

This Tassie Devil knew how to eat, check out the size of its mouth as it is devouring a snack!

Here is Martin with Katherine, Esther and Rebecca, on a viewpoint overlooking WineGlass Bay
